In this episode we talk the importance of community over competition. Your competitors are not there to bring you down, they are there to bring your industry up. There is no shortage of sales to be made out there, if you bring value, it doesn’t matter what others are doing, you will do well. When you help your competitor, you develop a community that strengthens everyone. Remember, a rising tide carries all ships. Your competition is your community, and a community rises together. Don’t find motivation in bringing others down, find motivation in bringing others up. Don’t be fearful of others, learn from them. Allow your competitor to make you better, don’t let them bring you down.

We've all heard the expression "the customer is always right", but you shouldn't be letting that guide your decision making in business. In this episode we talk about why you need to set the rules for your customers, and why it's ok for you to make them play by those rules. If we let our customers tell us what to do it will drive us crazy and will prevent us from building successful and scalable businesses that we can maintain control of. We're not saying to treat your customers badly, we're just saying that to give the best service to your valued customers, you have to create parameters and stick to those parameters. Successful businesses thrive with good customers, not problems customers, so do your customers a favour and give them some rules to follow.
